Bharatanatyam Dance – Apoorva Sastry

To celebrate Sri Venkateswara Brahmotsavam, there will be a Bharatanatyam Dance performance by the very accomplished Apoorva Sastry.

Apoorva Sastry joined Kalakshiti, an esteemed school for fine arts and attended classes for 12 years, learning traditional dance such as Alaripu, Jatiswara, Varnam, Tillana, Padam, etc.

She completed her Vidwat (Karnataka State board) and finished her Rangapravesha in 2014 and has since performed in multiple platforms including the prestigious Naadaneerajanam at Tirupathi Temple (as a lead dancer), Yuva Showrabha program at Kannada Bhavana, and the Children’s Museum of Manhattan, etc.

In addition, Apoorva Sastry is also trained in Natuvanga and has played for several public performances.
