The HTSNA (Hindu Temple Society of North America) Youth Group is excited to announce its annual Movie Day get-together.

“Sing” the movie, on March 4, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. (Saturday) – Saraswati Hall.

“Sing” is an American comedy animation movie produced by Illumination Entertainment. This PG rated film allows you to enjoy a hearty laugh, tuneful music and to briefly exist in a world with singing and dancing animals.

This movie will be preceded by a short educational and thought-provoking video. We encourage all youth and their families to come, mingle, watch a movie, enjoy some snacks and get to know more about the temple community.
The HTSNA youth group consists of 8th to 12th graders. As a group, we participate in cultural activities, tutoring at the Patashaala (Temple School), Soup Kitchens, academic activities, gardening, and much more.

The idea behind the youth group is to establish a close-knit community among Indian youth. We meet once a month with our advisors and discuss ideas about youth involvement at the temple, plan activities for the future, as well as creative ways to expand our group.

The movie day is one of our initiatives to meet new like-minded kids and speak about our youth group with the intention of recruiting new members. Joining our Youth Group is an amazing opportunity to develop friendships and create lasting memories.
Hope to see you all at the movie!
